Figured I need to catch up on my thankfuls after the last couple weeks..

-an amazing week in Palm Springs, CA
-that dad woke up at 1:30am and waited in line at best buy for me!
-that mum brought up my winter coat and clothes(and nutella!)
-loving parents who sacrifice everything for me
-all of my siblings; the fact that its important to all of us to spend precious time with each other
-a safe drive there and back--that Brad and Elisse were willing to drive me, and that my roommate, Jenny could squeeze me and my bags in her car!
-seeing Bradshaw, Jackson, and Olivia and how much they've grown
-playing with the kitty-a(as Jackson calls her)
-playing croquet with grandpa and the family
-seeing cousins and aunts and uncles
-grandpa's testimony and our Family home evening that we had
-grandma's amazing breakfasts every morning, and her loving hospitality
-aunt michelle's delicious candied yams and pies(specifically the chocolate macadamia nut)
-food, food, and more food
-enjoying warm weather
-going to the BYU v. Utah game on saturday with Brad and Elisse
-that BYU won and I got to storm the field!
-seeing some great old friends in provo
-christmas music that reminds me of the memorable christmas with family
-the fact that I will be back home in three weeks!(although that means finals are fast approaching.)

The past week with family was awesome, and I miss them already! Can't wait to be together this summer!

my thankfuls for today:

1. Mum and Dad's advice, and the fact that they'll drop everything they're doing if they know I need to talk.

2. Sisters. I can't wait to see you guys!

3. Chocolate fountains. We dipped strawberries, bananas, pretzels, and marshmallows into them at our relief society enrichment tonight!

count down 'til I see my family on the 21st: 4 days!

Thankfuls:

1. Email and (can you believe I'm saying this?)blogs, so that when people don't answer their phones, at least I can feel closer to them by looking at their posts or emailing.

2. Gram's cooperation in letting me write my paper on her!

3. The devotionals here at BYUI. Today Elder Clayton, from the Presidency of the Seventy came and spoke to us. His talk was about having a firm foundation on the Saviour. It was so good! I look forward to going to devotional every week; even though it takes a big chunk of time out of the day, it refuels me for the rest of the week.

Thankfuls:

1. The fact that you can change your facebook language to Pirate! Its hilarious, you should try it. It changes everything to say 'ohoy mateys!' and 'Arr, this be pleasin' to me eye'and calls everyone by 'lady' or 'cap'n', and calls people 'scallywags'. And when I changed it, it said "Th'saucy wench Cami be usin' Ye olde Facebook in th' tongue o' English(Pirate)" It made my day.

2. That my roommate, Jenny has a car. Its tough having to plan around her schedule as to when we can go, and sometimes I have to go a few days without certain foods, but I'm glad I can at least catch a ride with her sometimes!

3. Picture messages. The one Dani sent out of Jackson with glasses on was so cute! It makes me feel like I'm closer to my family!

Sorry I'm a little behind..

Three Thankfuls:

1. Being able to read Conference talks. I didn't realize how much I'd missed, but now reading it after the fact I'm learning so much more.

2. Roommates that bake! Today Carissa made French Silk Chocolate Pie. I'm pretty excited.

3. Sunday afternoon naps.

Three things I'm thankful for

1. My Dad's willingness to put money on my I-card so I can eat in the school's cafeteria and have some real food!

2. The power of prayer. I had a huge math exam today that I was dreading taking, and studied for hours on end. I prayed and prayed that I'd do well, took a big leap and took it on the first day the test opened..and aced it! I know heavenly father always hears and answers our prayers and I'm so thankful I can put my trust in him.

3. my roommate, Keesha. She's what keeps me sane here in our little bubble of Rexburg, Idaho.
